Ashlea Edan can support your projects and design / construction teams.  Providing expertise in the following areas:

• Management.  Management of multi-disciplinary design projects including co-ordination of sub-consultants and in-house design teams.  Programming and monitoring of projects to time and budget.  Preparation of pre-qualifications and tenders for a variety of projects and clients.  

 

• Construction Support.  Administration and site supervision of construction contracts and contractors, and sub-contractors / sub-consultants.  Over ten years site experience in a variety of roles, plus significant site involvement in many other design projects.

 

• Technical.  Development of design solutions from feasibility study to tender stage.  Contract Document preparation using a variety of model and bespoke specifications and methods of measurement.  Tailoring design solutions for implementation within limited duration construction periods and in safety critical environments.  Ensuring that all aspects of design are carried out in accordance with appropriate standards.

 

• Responsible for provision of safe designs with respect to CDM and other health & safety legislation, and for safety of staff engaged in site work, including compliance with clients’ safety requirements. Experience acting in role of CDM Planning Supervisor CDM Co-ordinator.

 

• Communication and Client Care.  Extensive experience of liaison with public and private sector clients, statutory bodies and third parties, including management of statutory procedures.  Experience of liaison with elected members and members of public whilst seconded into outsourced highway service delivery organisation.
